Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate & Camping – Tweed Valley Creekside Escape

Escape the crowds and discover a truly unique camping experience at Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate, a hidden gem nestled in the lush green caldera of the Tweed Valley. This is not your typical caravan park; it’s a private, boutique campground offering a limited number of serene sites, many set alongside the aptly named Platypus Creek. This exclusive setting provides a level of peace and privacy that is hard to find, allowing you to genuinely connect with the stunning natural surroundings of Northern New South Wales. The property exudes a tranquil, rural charm, where the sounds of birdlife replace the noise of busy towns, offering a perfect retreat for couples, families, and solo travellers seeking respite.

The highlight for many is the chance to sit quietly by the creek at dawn or dusk and catch a glimpse of a platypus in its natural habitat – a magical experience for any wildlife lover. The estate provides a back-to-basics approach to camping, focusing on the beauty of the landscape rather than extensive facilities. While amenities are simple, the trade-off is an authentic connection to nature. Despite its secluded feel, Sleepy Hollow is brilliantly located. The popular coastal towns of Pottsville, Hastings Point, and Brunswick Heads are just a short drive away, offering pristine beaches, fantastic cafes, and local markets. The vibrant hub of Byron Bay and the Gold Coast are also within easy reach for day trips. Sleepy Hollow Manor Estate & Camping offers the best of both worlds: a peaceful, private sanctuary to call home, with the spectacular Tweed Coast and its attractions right on your doorstep.
