Ingham Tourist Park – Ingham

Ingham Tourist Park is a classic, friendly, and convenient holiday park situated in the heart of the lush Herbert River Valley in Tropical North Queensland. Located on the southern entrance to Ingham, this park is celebrated for being the perfect gateway to the region’s spectacular natural attractions, most notably the magnificent Wallaman Falls, Australia’s highest permanent single-drop waterfall. The park offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with a great range of accommodation options to suit all travellers. There are spacious, shady powered and unpowered sites ideal for caravans, motorhomes, and tents, as well as a variety of comfortable, air-conditioned cabins. The park is known for its clean and well-maintained facilities, which include a refreshing swimming pool—a must in the tropical climate—a camp kitchen, barbecue areas, and a laundry. Its location is a major asset; while providing a peaceful setting, it is just a minute’s drive from the centre of Ingham, a town rich in Italian culture and the heart of the local sugarcane industry. This provides easy access to supermarkets, classic country pubs, and fantastic Italian delicatessens. For travellers looking to explore the natural wonders of the southern Cassowary Coast, from the misty rainforests of the Girringun National Park to the world-class fishing in the Hinchinbrook Channel, Ingham Tourist Park is a comfortable, affordable, and perfectly positioned basecamp.
