Nestled on the serene shores of Wallaga Lake, the largest lake in southern New South Wales, Ingenia Holidays Bermagui offers a premier coastal retreat for travellers seeking a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation. Situated just north of the vibrant fishing town of Bermagui, this holiday park serves as a gateway to the Sapphire Coast’s most iconic landscapes, including the ancient rock formations of Camel Rock and the sacred heights of Mount Gulaga. Whether you are an avid angler, a family seeking a summer getaway, or a grey nomad exploring the coast, this location provides an idyllic base to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the South Coast.
The park is uniquely positioned between the tranquil waters of the lake and the crashing surf of the Tasman Sea. A short walk across the road leads you directly to Camel Rock Beach, renowned for its excellent surf breaks and scenic walking trails. For those who prefer calmer waters, Wallaga Lake provides a sanctuary for boating, kayaking, and paddleboarding. The lake is also a legendary fishing spot, teeming with flathead and bream, making it a favorite for those hoping to catch their dinner right from the shore or the onsite jetty.
Accommodation options at Ingenia Holidays Bermagui cater to every style of traveler. From modern, fully self-contained waterfront cabins that offer stunning sunset views over the water, to spacious powered and unpowered sites for caravans and tents, the park ensures a comfortable stay. Families will appreciate the dedicated children’s facilities, including a jumping cushion and playground, while the camp kitchen and BBQ areas provide the perfect social hub for an evening meal under the stars.
Beyond the park boundaries, the region is rich in history and culture. The nearby village of Central Tilba offers a step back in time with its preserved 19th-century architecture and artisan shops. Nature lovers can tackle the hike up Mount Gulaga for panoramic views or visit the Blue Pool in Bermagui for a refreshing ocean swim. With its combination of modern amenities and raw natural splendor, Ingenia Holidays Bermagui is more than just a place to park your caravan; it is a destination where lifelong memories are made against the backdrop of one of Australia’s most beautiful coastlines.
