Double D Caravan Park Peak Hill

Welcome to Double D Caravan Park, your premier destination for peaceful and comfortable accommodation in the heart of the Central West region of New South Wales. Situated in the historic town of Peak Hill, midway between the major regional hubs of Parkes and Dubbo, our park is famously known as “The Quiet One.” We pride ourselves on providing a restful sanctuary for weary travellers, located approximately 600 metres off the Newell Highway to ensure you enjoy a night of undisturbed sleep away from the heavy transport noise of the main road.

Our facilities are designed with the modern caravanner and traveller in mind. We offer spacious, level concrete drive-through sites that make arrival and departure effortless, even for larger rigs. For those seeking a break from life on the road, we provide clean, well-maintained motel units and fully self-contained cabins. We understand that pets are part of the family, which is why we are a dedicated pet-friendly park. We feature a unique “doggy day spa,” a secure lead-free exercise area, and even pet-friendly motel rooms so your four-legged companions can enjoy the holiday just as much as you do.

Peak Hill itself is a town rich in gold mining history and country charm. Visitors can spend their days exploring the Peak Hill Open Cut Experience, browsing local antique stores, or enjoying the tranquility of the Bogan River. Whether you are staying for a single night stopover on your way through New South Wales or settling in for a week to explore the Goobang National Park and the wider Parkes Shire, Double D Caravan Park offers the perfect blend of convenience, cleanliness, and country hospitality. We look forward to welcoming you to our quiet corner of the Central West.
