Positioned on the edge of the pristine Pambula Beach and surrounded by the lush bushland of Beowa National Park, Discovery Parks – Pambula Beach is one of the most celebrated holiday destinations on the New South Wales Sapphire Coast. This sprawling park offers an unparalleled beachfront experience where the golden sands meet the crystal-clear waters of the South Pacific. It is a place where families, nature lovers, and adventure seekers can find their perfect pace, whether that means surfing the morning break, exploring ancient coastal tracks, or simply relaxing as the local kangaroos graze on the lawns beside your campsite.
The park is famous for its extensive range of family-friendly facilities, most notably the multi-million dollar water park and the heated indoor swimming pool. Children are kept entertained for hours with the jumping pillow, mini-golf course, and kids’ club activities, allowing parents to unwind and enjoy the sea breeze. For those who love the great outdoors, the direct beach access provides endless opportunities for swimming, fishing, and beachcombing. The nearby Pambula River Mouth is a highlight, offering calmer waters perfect for kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and safe swimming for younger children.
Accommodation at Discovery Parks – Pambula Beach is designed to suit every holiday style. Guests can choose from high-end deluxe cabins with ocean views to more modest economy options that provide all the essentials for a comfortable stay. For those travelling with their own home-on-wheels, the park offers spacious powered and unpowered sites, many of which are nestled amongst the trees or just a short stroll from the water’s edge. The modern camp kitchens, clean amenities blocks, and communal BBQ areas create a welcoming community atmosphere that brings travellers back year after year.
The surrounding region is a treasure trove of gourmet experiences and natural wonders. A short drive away, the historic village of Pambula offers boutique shopping and artisanal bakeries, while the nearby Merimbula provides a bustling hub of restaurants and cafes. Oysters are the star of the Sapphire Coast, and visitors can enjoy fresh shucking tours on the Pambula River. Whether you are seeking a high-energy family holiday or a quiet escape into nature, Discovery Parks – Pambula Beach provides the ideal coastal base for an unforgettable Australian getaway.
