Beyond the immediate convenience of the site, the location serves as a brilliant launchpad for exploring the wider region. You are mere minutes away from the majestic Murray River, where days can be spent fishing for Murray Cod, kayaking through the red gum forests, or simply enjoying a riverside picnic on sandy beaches. The area is steeped in history and local culture, with the famous “Big Strawberry” landmark practically on your doorstep, offering delightful local treats and family-friendly activities.
For those travelling with pets, the region is largely welcoming, with plenty of walking tracks and open spaces for your four-legged companions to stretch their legs. The camp’s proximity to both Cobram and Tocumwal means that while you enjoy the peace of a rural setting, you are never far from essential services. From stocking up on supplies at local supermarkets to enjoying a classic counter meal at a country pub, everything you need is within a short drive.
In an era where finding suitable, spacious, and accessible camping for large rigs can be a challenge, Big Rigs Camp stands out as a beacon of comfort. It is more than just a place to park; it is a community hub for like-minded travellers sharing stories of the road.
