Clairview Beach Holiday Park – A Beachfront Paradise for Anglers and Nature Lovers

Perfectly positioned right on the shores of the Coral Sea, the Clairview Beach Holiday Park is a legendary stop for travellers on the Bruce Highway. This is one of the few places on the east coast where the highway meets the ocean, offering an absolutely stunning beachfront setting that has made it a must-do destination for generations. The park is a true paradise for anyone who loves the salt and sand, and it’s particularly famous as a hotspot for fishing and crabbing. It’s the kind of place where you can launch your boat right off the beach, set your crab pots in the nearby creeks, and then cook up your catch while watching a spectacular sunset over the water. What makes Clairview truly special is its status as a habitat for dugongs. The calm, shallow waters are a feeding ground for these gentle sea creatures, and it’s one of the best places on the coast where you can spot them grazing on seagrass right from the shore, along with sea turtles that also frequent the area. This unique wildlife viewing opportunity adds a touch of magic to the already beautiful location. The park itself, run by the local council, offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with spacious sites, many boasting incredible ocean views. The on-site kiosk and the neighbouring BarraCrab Caravan Park with its pub and bistro mean you have all the essentials covered. For a classic, unforgettable Aussie beach holiday that combines amazing fishing with unique wildlife encounters, Clairview Beach Holiday Park is an unbeatable choice.
